Harleys Limited Announces Partnership with Rotary District 9212

Nairobi,  - Harleys Limited has entered into a partnership with Rotary District 9212. The collaboration originated to support various projects of Rotary to improve the health and well-being of the communities that Rotary serves. This is an opportunity for the parties to work together towards improving access to health care services and purchase of various medical equipment including specialized equipment with high standard and quality.


For more than 40 years, Harleys has been committed to providing the highest customer service standards and quality health care products. Harley’s Limited was incorporated as a retail chemist in 1953 and bought over by current management in 1975; a company focused on Importation and Distribution. Currently, Harley’s Limited has offices and stock points in 7 Locations: Nairobi (Central), Mombasa (Coast) & Kisumu (Western), Eldoret (Western), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Kampala (Uganda).


Revenues are generated from Ethical sales, OTC sales, Ophthalmic sales, Surgical sales, Medical Equipment Sales, and Cosmetic sales. Distributing for companies such as GSK, RB, Roche, Abbott, Servier, Merck, Sanofi among others. A full-fledged qualified professional team in all departments with a total staff of over 500 people.


Rotary District 9212 is an International Service Organization established in 1901, which incorporates a global network of more than 35,000 Clubs in more than 200 countries consisting of community volunteers who provide humanitarian service while addressing social-economic challenges. Rotarians take action to create positive change within communities through the utilization of their skills, time, and resources. Rotary Clubs in Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea are administered under Rotary District 9212 which is headed by a District Governor. There are more than 70 Rotary Clubs in Kenya with a diverse membership of more than 2600 Rotarians spread across virtually all counties in Kenya. Rotary has 7 focus areas namely:

  3. Emergency and Disaster Mitigation Initiatives
  4. Education and Literacy
  5. Supporting the Environment
  6. Growing Local Economies
  7. Peace and Conflict Resolution


Harleys Limited provides high-quality hospital types of equipment such as beds, theatre lights, incubation beds; personal protection equipment, prescription drugs as well as Over-The-Counter medications, orthopedic support, soaps, and sanitizers.


Harleys Limited recognizes that Rotary has a wide range of clubs across the region that seeks to impact the communities and society as a whole through well-structured and impactful projects within the areas of focus, with long-term goals.


The partnership will be for a duration of 10 years in the hope to ensure access to medical supplies for the various needs identified through the Rotary projects.
